Mexican Fox wants Immigrant's Pay
Mexican President Vincente Fox wants more illegal emigrants to go to
the US and get jobs so they can send money back home to Mexico.
Reports say that emigrants send $7-Billion to $10-Billion dollars per
year back to their families in Mexico. This money is going directly to
the families of workers and they are using it to build homes, medical
care or support extended families.
Now the Mexican Government wants to require that those
hard-earned Billions of Dollars first go into a Mexican Banks. This
way the Mexican Government can get its hands on the money by taxing the
dollars from the US. This is another way for the Mexican Government to
take income from the Mexican poor.
A question for President Fox is where is all the increased Billions of
Dollars from the high priced crude oil going? Now that crude oil is
selling for over $50 a barrel, Mexico should have almost double the oil
income that it had last year. We do not see that money going into low
cost housing, schools and hospitals for the poor. Instead President
Fox says to the poor people of Mexico go to the US illegally and send
your money back to Mexico where our government can get our hands on
it. The Mexican Government has printed books on the best way to
illegally enter the US on the Northern Border of Mexico.
My sources in Mexico City say major Mexican newspapers
are running ads that say workers can get documents from the newspaper
for $500 that will let them work in the US. The ads say if you are a
professional it will cost you $1,000 for these special immigration
documents. The ads say do not waste your money on attorneys because
these documents are the only way you can get legal jobs in the US.
There are no immigration documents that can get you a job in the US
without the immigrants applying at the US Embassy in Mexico City. The
question many Mexicans are asking is: who is getting the money? It is
not going to the US, so is it going to the Mexican Government or the
newspapers. It is another fraud on the Mexican People.
